Our Love

Our love is like the harmattan

It comes and goes with seasons

Our love is like the harmattan

It blows and blows then dies

Our love is like the harmattan

Raging for a season and gone the next

Our love is like the harmattan

Fiercest at night, yet quivering at noon

Our love is like the harmattan

Dampened by cold and absence

Our love is like the harmattan

In need of a stimulant to conquer

Our love is like the harmattan

Leaving scars on our tender spots

Our love is like the harmattan

That leaves us high and dry

My love? My love is sleeping beside me. My love produces fruits, from its deep roots. There are three of them; she watches over us like mother hen. My love, she wakes b4 all of us, she prepares us thus. My love loves God and we do not think this odd. That's my love

My love is like corruption in Nigeria, that never ends. Hahahahaaaaa. That was on a light note, though. My love is like a swit melody that soothes the soul, has all genres, exceeds national boundaries and frontiers, no respecter of AGE, CULTURE, NATIONALITY, TRIBE, SOCIAL STRATA, OR RELIGION. In fact, my second name na Lovina. Lol. Chizzy, y ur love come dey like harmattan???

Ifeoma.

My love is like salt, it could be subtle or overwhelming, it depends. It enhances, it gives taste, it preserves, it produces, it cleanses, it is soothing, it prevents decay. But then I can't stop @ this point bcus my love is also like a continuous flame contained within a tripod. It responds in accordance with what u feed it. It burns chaff, it gives warmth, it refines, it manufactures. It is colorful n it dances. Beautiful piece Chizzy.

My love is not about me, but about You...... It does not demand its own way. My love is not irritating n does not keep records of wrong. It is selfless. A call to responsibility, duty and a commitment.

My love is like foot stamps on the sands of a desert... blown away by the wind as a result of no shield... Yet... My love is like a tree planted by the riverside... blossoming season-in season-out as a result of proper nutrition... Nice poem... coincidentally there was this crazy harmattan in my city today, just like the pics above...

Our love is like the sky, never ending. Our love is like the sky, ever blue. Our love is like the sky, cloud can only cover it but for a while. Our love is like the sky, it pours out rain to nurture the land. Our love is like the sky, it's more than the harmattan.
